Camp Koinonia
Summit Fire in Santa Cruz Mountains within a mile of Camp Koinonia. Pray that God will keep Camp Koinonia safe from the fires. Here is the progress of the fire centered around Camp Koinonia, where we spent many a summer and church retreat.

MacGyver - Before they were born...
Today I showed a season 1 episode of MacGyver from 1986 on DVD in class today to my students. 80's TV shows were more wholesome than many shows you find on TV today. The kids were clamoring for more MacGyver. The episode was shot 6 or 7 years before they were born.

Home Inspection
I had my future home inspected Friday, a routine part during escrow. Everything was deemed to be in fine conditionby the Frank the home inspector, but I think he should have been called Inspector Gadget instead. His tools included a digital camera, a thingy that checks for the polarity of outlets, a clipboard, 2 eyes, and his right hand. The rest of his body was there for support.

The de Young Museum is art! They have an exhibition by photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto. Who would have thought a white movie screen would be considered art one day? Luminous!
